After a very first visit last March, a delegation from the Government of Macau was again present in the Principality on April 28, 2025, to attend the launch of the Monaco Clean Fusion Forum, organized at the Yacht Club de Monaco under the aegis of the Prince Albert II Foundation.
On the fringes of the Forum, Monaco's Ambassador to China, H.E. Mrs Marie-Pascale Boisson, organised a bilateral meeting between the Chinese delegation and several heads of Monegasque public and private sector entities representing the Principality's economic, technological and scientific fields.
The participants discussed their activities, expertise and mutual commitments. The discussions highlighted Monegasque know-how in the search for innovative solutions and emerging technologies, particularly those likely to promote the ecological transition in various cutting-edge sectors, such as energy production and storage, or even biomedical research in the field of health and the environment.
The meeting was attended by Mr Guillaume Rose, Executive Director of the Monaco Economic Board, Ms Sandrine Sauval, Director of MonacoTech, Ms Delphine Frappier, Secretary General of the Centre Scientifique de Monaco, Mr Eric Villalonga, President of the Monaco Chamber of Renewable Energies and Ecology, and Mr Mirco Albisetti, President of Aton Green Monaco.
The Macau Government delegation, led by the Secretary for the Economy and Finance, Mr Tai Kin Ip, included Dr Che Weng Keon, Chairman of the Scientific and Technological Development Fund Committee, and Mr Iong Nin Fai, in charge of the Eco Development Office.
