Arnaud Alessandria, 13th in Alpine combined:

The Monegasque national ended his competition on a high, putting in the best performance ever by a skier from the Principality at the Winter Olympic Games.

Arnaud Alessandria couldn’t have hoped for a better result from his final Olympic event in Yanqing. Following the downhill event (29th) on Monday and the super-G (31st) on Tuesday, the Monegasque skier today competed in the Alpine combined event (one downhill and one slalom run), under the watchful eye of H.S.H. Prince Albert II.
