Monaco’s third China Night will take place on Friday 25 September 2015 at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The event is being organised jointly by Monaco’s Embassy to China and the Tourist and Convention Authority, in collaboration with institutional partners from Monaco.*

The evening, which will be held as part of Monaco Yacht Show, is the partner event of the annual Monaco Week in China, which was this year organised at Noah’s Yacht Club in Shanghai and at the Salon Monaco in Beijing.

The aim of these events, organised with the support of Chinese media group Blu Inc Media (China Boating, Asia Boating, Jet Asia-Pacific, AsiaSpa, Luxury Properties, etc.), is to strengthen the economic links between the Principality and the People’s Republic of China.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Monaco. Communication between Monaco and China was initiated in 1995 by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III. H.S.H. Prince Albert II continues to pursue this policy of rapprochement, promoting the development of numerous sectors between the two countries.

Yachting, a key sector of the Monaco economy, is one of the areas in which economic relations are being developed with China. The third China Night is part of the 25th Monaco Yacht Show, where the Principality’s knowledge and expertise in the yachting industry will be highlighted.

With the development of yachting in China, the Principality is well positioned to build closer economic relations in this sector. This year, a large number of Chinese visitors are once again expected at the exhibition, as a result of the canvassing work done by representatives from Monaco and Blu Inc Media during Monaco Week in China.

During the evening, the Chinese guests will have a privileged opportunity to discover the fashion designs of Isabell Kristensen during an exclusive catwalk show organised especially for the occasion, on the theme of “Life is beautiful”.
