The YCM at the top inside the 37th America’s Cup

With the third consecutive time, Emirates Team New Zealand triumphed in the America’s Cup.
This was a resounding victory over Ineos Britania in this oldest sporty trophy in the world challenging technology and performances without boundaries.
The defender Emirates Team New Zealand is led by Matteo de Nora member of the YCM.
The famous neo-zealand skipper Grant Dalton is also an YCM member.
Regarding the three challengers (among the total five with the French Orient Express Racing Team and the US NYYC American Magic).
Ineos Britannia won the Luis Vuitton Cup.
Ben Ainslie, the skipper came back after sisty years for the Britsih team.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, owner of Ineos is a Monaco resident since 2018 and YCM member.
Luna Rossa Pirelli and Alinghi Red Bull made great sailing races even.
The Italian owner of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team is Patrizio Bertelli, is CEO of Prada and YCM member.
Ernesto Bertarelli is the Swiss owner of Alinghi Red Bull who won the America’s Cup in 2003 and 2007.

Emirates Team New Zealand, won by 7-2 races against Ineos Britannia.
The Kiwis have quickly won the four first races. With very cool weather and wind conditions, they took advantage on British team. Ben Ainslie, from the UK team won only when the weather and wind conditions were stronger
With a score of 4-2 for the Nez-Zealand, Ineos Team knew he had to tackle with very tuff conditions

Prince Albert, also President du Yacht Club, and His nephew Pierre Casiraghi, vice-president of the YCM, were in Barcelona with Bernard d’Alessandri, general secretary of the YCM said His proudness to host two famous members in the winning team. « I am very thankfull to New-Zealand, who is at its very best, but I want also to be very grateful to the British and their talent".
The YCM declared on Instagram: « it is not possible not to come to Barcelona to support these two great worldwide teams, further more members of our club. An historical and magical event.
