Plantation de l’Arbre « Monaco » à Beijing
At the end of May, the Chinese Foreign Ministry invited all Ambassadors stationed in Beijing to plant a tree in the International Friendship Garden located in the large Donggao Road Park opposite Chaoyang Park. The latter is a very popular place for Pekingese: it contains immense green spaces, places of relaxation and recreation for families and also cultural and sporting spaces.
The Monaco Embassy in China has planted the Sino-Monegasque friendship tree called "Monaco": it is a Chinese ash - Fraxinus Chinensis Roxbury (in Latin).
